GSA Certified Safe and Vault Technician

Why use a GSA Certified Safe and Vault Technician?  Two main reasons.

Firstly
FED-STD-809 lays out the requirment within the foreward.

forward ..."only properly trained and equipped personnel are authorized to perform inspections, maintenance procedures or attempt to preform the opening and repair methods"...

..."the GSA authorized technician shall be capable of preforming routine inspection, maintenance, and opening locked-out containers or vault doors"...
